We believe the local church should be judged not by its programs or style or the number of people in attendance, but in how it strives to practice the command to "love your neighbor as yourself." From poverty to homelessness to neighborhood renewal and more, there are all sorts of serving opportunities for people to engage with.  


Serve The City Weekend: April 30 - May 1

  • Work alongside the Home Park Neighborhood Association and help clean up the community! 


    Time: 9:00am to 10:30am

  • You'll help us ready up our new food pantry by organizing food and supplies, stocking shelves, and packing boxes for college students. You'll also have the opportunity to learn the ropes on how the food pantry will function, giving you the know-how if you ever want to serve in this area of our church. 


    Time: 10:00am to 1:00pm (lunch included)

    Limit: 12 people

  • This is a social event at the Campbell-Stone Assisted Living in Buckhead. If you're into cards, board games, and chatting it up with people, this one is for you! We'll provide the games and food for the residents.


    Time: 2:00pm to 4:00pm

  • This team will serve dinner to the homeless of our city with the people of SafeHouse Outreach in downtown. 


    Time: 5:30pm to 7:00pm

  • We'll provide the afternoon vespers service to the residents. Songs, a short devotion, and serving communion.

Mission & Justice Work

Throughout the year, we send financial support to several mission and justice organizations here in our city and in the country of Haiti. All of this money is collected through out year-end giving campaign and is used for the following calendar year.

  • Pfamily Mission, Haiti

    Pfamily Mission works to build stronger, healthier communities and alleviate poverty by giving parents the support they need to provide for their families and to know they are not forgotten in their challenges. Through school sponsorship programs, sustainable agriculture initiatives, and through local church and spiritual formation work, the Pfaff’s are working hard to bring renewal to a beautiful people in great need.


  • Bread Coffeehouse, Emory University

    Bread Coffeehouse exists to create thriving, inclusive communities for college students who change their world with love as they become followers of Christ. Bread offers a free coffeehouse for Emory students, weekly meals, small groups, and opportunities to serve our city.

  • Focus Community Strategies, Atlanta

    FCS Urban Ministries has been a staple of the Atlanta Neighborhood Renewal movement for more than 40 years and has been a partner of ours since 2007. FCS invests in one under-resourced Atlanta neighborhood at a time, building upon the neighborhood’s strengths to create a flourishing community. Their core values are neighboring, dignity, and development.

  • Welcome Co-Op, Atlanta

    Welcome Co-Op is part of the New American Pathways organization that has been serving Atlanta since 2014, working to help resettle refugee families here in our city.
